Patricia E. Roche joined the firm in 1987. She concentrates her practice on family law matters and estate planning and administration matters. Ms. Roche is committed to work closely with each client, to educate the client about the law, and to work together to achieve realistic goals and objectives. Ms. Roche has extensive experience with divorce, child custody, parenting schedules (visitation), child support, spousal support, property valuation and division, prenuptial agreements, mediation, domestic violence, adoption, and post judgment applications for modifications. Ms. Roche also has extensive experience with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and the administration of estates.

Ms. Roche received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Montclair State College in 1973 and 1975 and her Juris Doctor from Rutgers University in 1986. She served as Law Clerk to the Honorable June Strelecki, former Presiding Judge of the Superior Court, Chancery Division- Family Part in Essex County in 1986-1987. She was admitted to the bar in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1986. Ms. Roche has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney since 2003.

She was a member of the Worrall F. Mountain American Inn of Court in 1991 and 1992. Ms. Roche currently serves as Trustee of the Morris County Bar Foundation. She is a member of the Family Law Sections of the State of New Jersey and Morris County Bar Associations.

Ms. Roche has served as a volunteer attorney for the Matrimonial Early Settlement Panels in Morris County and in Warren County since 1991 and for the Matrimonial Blue Ribbon Settlement Panels in Morris County and Sussex County since 2006. She has served as a volunteer attorney for the Morris County Family Law Resource Project since its inception in 2012. She has been appointed by the Court as Guardian Ad Litem and received appointments in other capacities. Ms. Roche has served as president of the Randolph Rotary Club and as chair of the parents' committee of her sons’ Troop of the Boy Scouts of America.
